Commencement of Work
LVL18 Design Corp begins work upon receipt of an order via phone, email, or written confirmation, which constitutes acceptance of the estimate and forms a contractual agreement. Invoices are issued electronically.
Liability
LVL18 Design Corp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of its work. Any liability is strictly limited to the amount paid by the client for the services provided. All quotations remain valid for 30 days. These Terms and Conditions override any previous agreements unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Termination
LVL18 Design Corp reserves the right to suspend or terminate a project in cases of disruptive, abusive, or uncooperative client behavior, or if client communication ceases for a period exceeding 60 days.
Client Approval
All design work requires written client approval before development begins. Substantial changes to the approved design or project scope may incur additional charges.
Client Responsibilities
Clients must supply all agreed-upon materials in a timely manner and ensure they hold all rights, licenses, or permissions for any submitted content.
Copyright
LVL18 Design Corp retains copyright ownership of all original artwork, designs, and code unless otherwise agreed in writing. Upon full payment, the client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the delivered work for its intended purpose. Any reuse, modification, or distribution outside the agreed scope requires written permission.
Browser Compatibility
LVL18 Design Corp takes reasonable steps to ensure cross-browser compatibility but does not guarantee full functionality across all browsers, devices, or software versions. Mobile compatibility must be defined and agreed upon prior to project commencement.
Website Hosting
Hosting and maintenance, where provided, apply only to existing site pages and minor content updates as agreed. Feature additions, redesigns, or structural changes are excluded unless separately quoted. Clients using third-party hosting are responsible for all hosting, security, and site upkeep.
SEO and Web Presence Campaigns
Details regarding campaign scope, pricing, and payment are outlined in estimates and invoices. Cancelled campaigns may incur charges for work completed up to the cancellation date. Non-payment may result in suspension of services or collection actions.
Payment Terms
1. Deposit
A 75% deposit is required before work begins. The remaining 25% is due upon project completion. Projects under $1,000 CAD require full payment in advance.
2. Final Payment
Final payment is due per the terms stated on the estimate or invoice. Accounts overdue by more than 30 days may be suspended. Clients agree to cover reasonable costs incurred in the collection of overdue balances, including legal or administrative fees.
3. Ownership
All website code, graphics, and deliverables remain the property of LVL18 Design Corp until full payment is received.
